Rajan Shahi's like a Godfather. He changed my life ands career forever. Only one audition I gave and the confidence he showed on me was motivating and a life changing moment. My first shot was given in his presence. He takes extra care of actors. He was accommodating even when I did Jhalak Diklaja along with bidaai. He is a gem of a person and it was my fortune to get such a break. Directors Kut is the best production house to work with and it will remain in my memory forever and I hope to work again with Rajan Sir in future.
Rajan Shahi is like a Godfather. I have worked for six years but got recognition only through his show Bidaai. Whatever I am I am because of him. I owe my success to him. He is a fantastic human being first then a producer. He is the person behind my house who supported me financially at the time of need. He is a man with a big heart.
I worked with him few years back but the rapport we shared was very smooth. Working with him is easy & very professional. He is very punctual & when it comes to work, very particular. He keeps his word & assures his words are turned into action. Our tuning together was very good & even.
He is one of the finest directors I have worked with on television. The show we were working on together didn't go on for long but my experience with him was memorable. I tend to ask a lot of questions during shooting & he would patiently answer my questions, thus making his actors feel very comfortable! His patience & dedication are two attributes that make him a successful director. I would want to repeatedly work with him. Our equation together has been fantastic.
He is a very good-natured person & a great director! He does a fabulous job, at anything & everything he lays his hands on! I have known him since his early days when he started off as assistant director, during my 'Sailaab' days. He would help me rehearse my dialogues. He would always take interest in everything & even offer a lot of creative inputs. I wish him all the very best!
He is a very caring person and I respect him for his work and success. He is the one who gave me break on small screen as Saloni in Saat Phere. He is a person who loves to motivate his team and also believes in lot of hard work and team work. I am grateful to have worked with him.
I am too small to mention about his work. He is a very special person for me and a fabulous director to work with. I being from a Marathi background and been working in Marathi serials, he gave me a fantastic guidance. As a producer also he is brilliant. I am one of those few lucky people to work with him. I know him very well and he is my dear friend. I miss working with him as a director. As a person he is very loving and caring and I am happy for the success he has achieved because he deserves it.
Rajan Shahi for me is like one of my family members who I can completely trust, believe and have faith in. A fast city of Mumbai where everyone lives to survive we get little time to spend with each other. I love spending time with him for my own selfish reason because he is so knowledgeable, be it books, movies etc he can talk about anything under the sun. That's because he has started from starch. He is what he is because of himself. He is so caring towards his team and always wants them to progress. He is a leader and loves to motivate the people he works with. One of the reasons that I am in Bombay is because of him. A time when I was going through a bad phase and had no work, I was thinking of going back to Calcutta. He was one of the few people that told me that I should not worry and the right work will come at the right time.

I am grateful to him for my character of Yuvraj. Rajan Shahi is very honest and self-made person. His favourite word is 'pakka'. I always told him to do yoga and exercise and he always replied to me by saying 'pakka from tomorrow. Ya lets see.' And it was understood that it’s definitely 'not pakka'. He is a fantastic person and an achiever.
My association with Rajan Sir goes long back. We worked together on my first ever show Millee which he directed. Working with him spells 'teamwork'. He involves everyone and makes sure everyone is comfortable with their respective parts. We are yet very good friends. Yes, unfortunately we do not get to meet each other that often any longer due to our work schedules but when we meet...we can go on and on till the next morning too! It’s just the same.
The both of us share a special bond. He is very dear to me as he was the one who gave me my first show. Working with him is always great and I have very high regards for him not only as a director or producer but as a person as well. I have got to be one of those lucky ones to learn from him so much about life, discipline, acting, etc. And the best part about him is that even after doing so well, he is so down to earth!
Rajan sir is a sweetheart! He is my Godfather. Today whatever little I am, it's thanks to him! He was the only person who wanted me to be on the show. It is only because of him, not only Sadhna but even Sara is what she is. He is an extremely sweet and cool guy. I will remain grateful towards him all my life.
He is one of the most passionate director/producer I have ever met. He is totally involved in his work and absolutely excellent with emotions. A very hardworking person, he is available 24 X 7. And on a personal front, he is a dependable, loving, caring, trustworthy and a completely great friend.
I know him since the past 12 years when he was an assistant to Ravi Rai. He is one of the most efficient assistants I had ever met and I knew, this guy is going to make it big one day. And how right was I! His heart is always at the right place and brings out the emotionality from his actors with such ease. His shows always have a slightly different angle and are never over the top. I am very happy for him with the success he has achieved and hope to see him directing and producing a feature film one day.
He is not only an amazing director but also a wonderful human being! I know him since the past 3 and half years. Usually producers are very temperamental but he is extremely cool at work as he understands the technicality. He makes the working environment so cordial and friendly. He is just too good for anyone to have a complaint against him.
He is my guardian angel. He is absolutely the best producer. Being a wonderful human being, he is excellent at emotions. I am what I am all thanks to him and will be whatsoever due to him. He is very approachable and values people and their commitments and potential. He loves us and so do we!
I know him since the past 15 years and the first thing I can say is that, he is a great guy! He is a very hardworking and a creative director. He is a visionary producer and absolutely knows the pulse of the Indian audience. He has brought about a change in the television industry breaking the trend of the monotonous shows replacing it with some fresh concepts which have been welcomed by the audience. Bidaai made a difference to my career as well. Now I am part of his Kuuch Toh Log Kahege as well. It’s a pleasure to do a show produced by him.
The first time I met Rajan Sir....I remember it never felt like I was meeting him for the first time. He is one of the most important person in my life. Rajan Sir is very affectionate, compassionate, emotional and the most adorable person. He is like a father figure to me and often ends up calling him my "papa bear". He is full of enthusiasm and makes any other person feel the best in his presence. He is absolutely down to earth even after achieving so much in life and a great producer. He always gave me the feeling of one of those parents who go to pick their children from the boarding schools on their summer vacations...and the kids go running to their respective parents or guardians and are cuddled and pampered. He is the top most producer/ director.

I feel so fortunate and extremely proud to have known a person like him. And the entire Director's Kut family is the reflection of Rajan Sir they all have been extremely kind to me. DKP is a family and very special to me, I have been extremely fortunate and lucky to have been blessed with the opportunity of working with the best production house of the television industry. success, good health and all the best in life. I don’t have words to express my gratitude towards Rajan and DKP.
Few are blessed to work with a producer like Mr Rajan Shahi. Although I got to work with him only for four months, it turned out to be a life changing experience. I firmly believe that good things happen to good people and Rajan Sir's success proves this point. Bidaai was our third attempt to work together and I am very glad that I did the show, as God had bigger plans for me. Working in Bidaai was my best experience so far, as the show was well set there were no production problems and everything was very professional. I was skeptical thinking that all the actors would be really close and I would feel like a complete outsider, but thankfully everyone welcomed me with open arms. In fact I am a regular (as much as possible) member of the Bidaai kitty as well and it’s the only team that I get to meet on a monthly basis. The close bond he shares with all his actors even after a show gets over, shows what a great human being he is, unlike other producers who are usually running away from actors once a show gets over.

I still don't know what prompted him to suggest my name for Murder-2 but I can never thank him enough for it and I am glad he did. Each time I thank him, he just tells me " don't thank me, we are all just means it’s because of your talent." I remember calling him before signing the film as I was a little unsure about it as it wasn't the lead technically. He was the one who told me to go for it as it would only take my career forward and I am glad I took his advice. I got a text from him after the film's release saying- 'I feel so proud when people tell me that 'Sir film ki heroine toh Sulagna hi hai'" !! Making him proud was the proudest moment for me.
